Discovery Awaits!

The storms are rolling in from the Pacific, and it’s time to start making reservations for storm watching on the Long Beach Peninsula. Enjoy the wild show on the beach by day and tuck in for fine dining at night. Cozy up by the fireplace and sip a hot toddy before crawling into bed at one of our many top-quality lodgings.

Our parks are open; visit the Willapa National Wildlife Refuge, Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, Leadbetter Point, Fort Columbia, Cape Disappointment and the lighthouses.
Go back in time to when horsepower literally meant horse power. The Northwest Carriage Museum in Raymond is open year ’round. Enjoy the extensive collections at the Columbia-Pacific Heritage Museum in Ilwaco and the Pacific County Heritage Museum in South Bend, both also open year ’round.

Whether you come to ride or hike the Willapa Hills Trail, shop downtown Long Beach, play on the beach or investigate the shifting sands of Tokeland and North Cove, Pacific County suits a diverse array of visitors.
